  4.                           SHAREWARE LICENSE

  6.         This program is shareware and STRAT-TECH expects you to register 
  7.         the program if you use it.  Registration includes receiving the
  8.         latest version of the program and other benefits (See info file
  9.         in the library for added benefits.

  11.         You have 15 days to evaluate the program free.

  14.          DEFINITION OF SHAREWARE

  16.          Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software
  17.          before buying it. If you try a Shareware program and continue
  18.          using it, you are expected to register. Individual programs
  19.          differ on details -- some request registration while others
  20.          require it, some specify a maximum trial period. With
  21.          registration, you get anything from the simple right to continue
  22.          using the software to an updated program.

  24.          Copyright laws apply to both Shareware and commercial software,
  25.          and the copyright holder retains all rights, with a few specific
  26.          exceptions as stated below. Shareware authors are accomplished
  27.          programmers, just like commercial authors, and the programs are
  28.          of comparable quality. (In both cases, there are good programs
  29.          and bad ones!) The main difference is in the method of
  30.          distribution. The author specifically grants the right to copy
  31.          and distribute the software, either to all and sundry or to a
  32.          specific group. For example, some authors require written
  33.          permission before a commercial disk vendor may copy their
  34.          Shareware.

  36.          Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of software. You
  37.          should find software that suits your needs and pocketbook,
  38.          whether it's commercial or Shareware. The Shareware system makes
  39.          fitting your needs easier, because you can try before you buy.
  40.          And because the overhead is low, prices are low also. Shareware
  41.          has the ultimate money-back guarantee -- if you don't use the
  42.          product, you don't pay for it.

  44.          Anyone distributing the program for any kind of remuneration must
  45.          first contact Strat-Tech, Inc. for our authorization.
  46.          This authorization will be automatically granted to distributors
  47.          recognized by the (ASP) as adhering to its guidelines for
  48.          shareware distributors, and such distributors may begin offering
  49.          the program immediately (However, we must still be advised so
  50.          that the distributor can be kept up-to-date with the latest
  51.          version of the program.).

  53.          You are encouraged to pass a copy of the program along to your
  54.          friends for evaluation.  Please encourage them to register their
  55.          copy if they find that they can use it.  All registered users
  56.          will receive a copy of the latest version of the program
  57.          system.

  86.                        STRAT-TECH, INC. LICENSE AGREEMENT
  87.         
  88.         1. What this is:  This document will govern your use of the 
  89.         STRAT-TECH, INC. (STRAT-TECH BELOW) products furnished with 
  90.         it. (THE FISH EXPERT).  It is valid AFTER you register
  91.         the program via mail-in order form or telephone for the
  92.         registered version of the program.
  93.         
  94.         You agree to the terms of the agreement after executing the 
  95.         program the first time.  Do not execute the program without 
  96.         first reading, understanding, and agreeing to the terms and 
  97.         conditions of this agreement.  
  98.         
  99.         2. GRANT OF LICENSE.  STRAT-TECH hereby grants you, and you 
  100.         accept, a limited license to use the enclosed diskette (s), 
  101.         user manual(s), and any related materials (collectively called 
  102.         the "Software" in this agreement).  The software may be used 
  103.         by any number of people and may be moved from one computer to 
  104.         another provided it is only used by one person at a time on 
  105.         one computer at a time.  The Software may not be used or 
  106.         installed at more than one location at a time.  You may not 
  107.         rent, lease, lend, sublicense or otherwise transfer the 
  108.         Software or your rights hereunder.  
  109.         
  110.         3. STRAT-TECH's rights.  By accepting this agreement, you do 
  111.         not become the owner of the Software, but you do have the 
  112.         right to use the Software in accordance with this agreement.  
  113.         The software is protected by copyright, trade secret, and 
  114.         trademark law.  You acknowledge that the Software is the sole 
  115.         and exclusive property of STRAT-TECH, developed or acquired by 
  116.         it at great expense.  You agree to use your best efforts and 
  117.         all reasonable steps to protect the Software from unauthorized 
  118.         use, reproduction, or distribution except as specifically 
  119.         authorized by this License Agreement.

  121.         All copies of the software must contain any STRAT-TECH 
  122.         copyright.  All other copies of the program and its 
  123.         documentation are in violation of this agreement.

  125.         4. TERM.  This agreement is effective from the day you execute the 
  126.         registered program the first time.  The rights granted by 
  127.         STRAT-TECH to you by this agreement shall be effective until 
  128.         terminated.  If you breach any of the terms or conditions of this 
  129.         agreement, such rights shall automatically terminate without any 
  130.         notice from STRAT-TECH to you.  
  131.         
  132.         5. YOUR ORIGINAL DISKETTE/ARCHIVAL COPIES.  You are authorized 
  133.         to make copies  of the software for the purpose of having 
  134.         backup and working copies.  All physical copies of the 
  135.         Software must contain any STRAT-TECH copyright as on the 
  136.         original.

  138.         6. WARRANTY.   STRAT-TECH warrants to the original licensee 
  139.         that the disk(s) on which the software is recorded shall be 
  140.         free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal 
  141.         use and service for a period of 30 days from the date of 
  142.         delivery as evidenced by shipping records.  STRAT-TECH's 
  143.         entire liability and your exclusive remedy shall be 
  144.         replacement of any disk which does not meet STRAT-TECH's 
  145.         limited warranty and which is returned to STRAT-TECH.  If 
  146.         failure of the disk has resulted from accident, abuse, or 
  147.         misapplication of the product, STRAT-TECH shall have no 
  148.         responsibility to replace the disk.  If for any reason STRAT-
  149.         TECH should fail to replace any disk in accordance with this 
  150.         limited warrant, or if for any reason the limited remedy 
  151.         provided for by this paragraph should be determined to be 
  152.         invalid or inapplicable to any claim which is based upon or 
  153.         related to this agreement or the Software, the aggregate 
  154.         liability of STRAT-TECH and anyone else whose has been 
  155.         involved in the creation, production or distribution of the 
  156.         software nevertheless shall be limited to the amount paid by 
  157.         you for the Software.

  159.         The above are the only warranties of any kind, either 
  160.         expressed or implied, including but not limited to the implied 
  161.         warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular 
  162.         purpose that are made by STRAT-TECH or any other person 
  163.         involved in the creation, production or distribution of the 
  164.         software.  
  165.         
  166.         The software is intended to be used only as a tool and not as 
  167.         a professional adviser.  Neither STRAT-TECH nor anyone else 
  168.         involved in the creation, production or distribution of the 
  169.         software warrants, guarantees, or makes any representations 
  170.         regarding the use of the software in terms of correctness, 
  171.         accuracy, reliability, currency, or otherwise, and you rely on 
  172.         the software and results solely at your own risk.
  173.         
  174.         Neither STRAT-TECH nor anyone else who has been involved in 
  175.         the creation, production, or distribution of this software 
  176.         shall be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or 
  177.         incidental damages  arising out of the use, the results of 
  178.         use, or inability to use the software even if STRAT-TECH or 
  179.         any such other party has been advised of the possibility of 
  180.         such damages.
